Renovation of new Arroyo Grande, CA Main Post Office

The U. S. Postal Service is soliciting proposals from pre-qualified contractors for the renovation of approximately 4,400 sq. ft. of existing space to be known as the new main post office located in Arroyo Grande CA. The work will include partial roof replacement. The project is to be completed in 120 days after notice to proceed. Estimated range is $750,000-$850,000. This is a leased facility. A pre-proposal conference will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on May 18th at the site. For technical questions concerning this solicitation, please contact the architect Robert Coles of RJC Inc. at 805-692-9477. The proposal must contain the offerors overhead, profit, bonds, insurance, and all other contingencies. No allowance for such items will be made after contract award. Offers will not be publicly opened. All proposal information will remain confidential until award. This solicitation is being issued pursuant to the authority of the U. S. Postal Service Interim Internal Purchasing Guidelines issued 5/19/05. Project drawings may be viewed after 5/9/06 at the Barker Blue Digital Imaging ePlanroom at http://www.barkerbluedigital.com.
