LOI - Sandia National Laboratories Demolition
Request for Letters of Interest for Demolition Contractors interested in pursuing a Contract Purchase Agreement with Sandia National Laboratories (SNL) to perform demolition work associated with the Facilities Infrastructure Restoration Program primarily at SNL, Albuquerque, NM. SNL intends to award a Small Business, Set-Aside contract, but reserves the right to award an 8a Set-Aside contract. The contract will be awarded for one year, with four separate twelve month options to extend the contract at SNL’s discretion. Potential Offeror’s will be required to provide 1) a minimum of two references of repeat customers for whom they have performed or are currently performing work similar to the work contemplated by SNL (high security environment, diverse mission, dynamic demolition), and, 2) at least one example of a project completed in each of the following demolition categories: DEMOLITION CATEGORIES 1) Single Story Buildings 2) Multi Story Buildings 3) Towers and Tanks 4) Miscellaneous Structures SINGLE STORY BUILDINGS Single Story Buildings ranging in size from less than 100 Gross Square Feet (GSF) to 15,000 GSF of varying construction materials including Wood, Concrete, Masonry, Steel, and other metals. MULTI-STORY Multi-Story Buildings ranging in size from 1,000 GSF to 190,000 GSF of varying construction materials including Wood, Concrete, Masonry, Steel, and other metals. TOWERS AND TANKS Water Towers Boom Towers Radio Towers Control Towers Water Tanks Chemical Tanks Petro-Chemical Tanks MISCELLANEOUS STRUCTURES Above Ground and Underground Concrete Re-enforced Vaults Above Ground and Underground Concrete Re-enforced Silos Above Ground and Underground Concrete Re-enforced Bunkers Containment Structures TIMELINE SNL intends to accept Letters of Interest from qualified potential offerors until 5:00 PM, MDT, September 23, 2005. Letters of Interest shall demonstrate the Potential Offeror's qualifications for a potential contract relevant to the above response/qualification criteria and shall not exceed ten pages in length. Request for Proposals (RFPs) will be sent to potential Offerors selected at SNL's discretion on October 15, 2005. SNL anticipates awarding a contract no later than February 5, 2006.
