Work consists of, but is not limited to the following: The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, supervision, equipment, and perform all operations necessary to accomplish all work in accordance with the specifications and drawings, specified herein, or as needed to fully complete the Addition and Alteration to Building 90208, Command Post SRC Collocation at Hurlburt Field. The existing Command Post Facility will remain operational and secure 24 hours a day / 7 days a week during construction of this contract. Temporary walls shall be provided to maintain operation and security of existing Command Post during demolition to portions of east exterior wall. The addition and alterations to the Command Post include, but are not limited to, a one story addition to the existing facility on a reinforced concrete foundation w/recessed slab for access flooring, exterior masonry backup cavity walls with cmu veneer, masonry screen wall, reinforced concrete roof deck with a steel framed roof structure, pre-finished structural standing seam metal roof with concealed gutters and fascia panels on a light gage steel framing system. Alterations include required demolition of the existing facilities exterior masonry walls, light gage steel framed roof structure, structural standing seam metal roof and finishes for new construction. Site improvements include sodded areas, sidewalks, additions to the mechanical screen wall enclosure, expansions and modifications to existing site utilities for the new facility. Site clearing, site preparation, utilities, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and other incidental work as may be necessary to make the facility operational. The work shall be fully complete in accordance with the contract documents. A site visit will be scheduled approximately 15 days from the solicitation issue date. This is an unrestricted acquisition. Estimated magnitude for this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The solicitation will be available ONLY via the Internet at the following address: http://www.fbo.gov/.
