Default Skull Canyon Bridge @ Stoney Creek

The work consists of constructing a new glued laminated deck system for Skull Canyon Bridge and replacing the existing bridge at Stoney Creek with a pre-stressed concrete bridge. Work for the Skull Canyon Bridge includes demolition of existing deck and curbs for entire bridge length, disposal of debris, construction of a new deck with glued laminated panels, replacing bulkheads, installing new wheel guards and rail system, placing riprap under the bridge, modifying the existing concrete wingwalls, designing, providing, and constructing a prefabricated modular retaining wall system, paving asphalt approaches, temporary and permanent signing and all associated site work. Work for the Stoney Creek Bridge includes demolition of the existing bridge superstructure and substructure, constructing new concrete abutment footings, designing, providing and installing a contractor-engineered pre-stressed concrete slab bridge, bridge railing, constructing and removing a temporary by-pass road, riprap, asphalt approaches, traffic control, permanent signing and all associated site work. These bridges are located in Grant County, west of US Highway 395 on the North Fork John Day River Road near Dale, Oregon in T7S., R29E., Sections 2 and 10, W.M. Project price range is between $250,000 and $500,000. NAICS: 237310. Project site is located in Grant County, Prineville District, Oregon. Estimated start work is April 1, 2006 and performance time is 175 calendar days. Bonds are required - Bid Bond: 20%; Performance Bond: 100%; and Payment Bond: 100%. This solicitation will be posted electronically. Paper copies are no longer available.
