The Seattle District Corps of Engineers has a competitive requirement to Replace Family Housing, Phase VI, Malmstrom AFB, Montana. Project consists of demolition of existing approximately 276 housing units in multiplexes and single unit buildings; remove site utilities and other work to clear for new construction. Building debris shall be removed to a licensed landfill. Construct 276 replacement housing units in a duplex, four-plex, and six-plex configuration of single story and two stories, in several floor plan types and exterior architectural styles. Project will include site utilities, regarding landscape, backyard fencing, and miscellaneous site development work. Other trades include concrete foundation, rough and finish carpentry, gypsum wallboard, interior painting, steel siding, composition roof, blanket and rigid building insulation, vinyl flooring, carpet, countertops, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring and lighting fixtures. Estimated dollar value is in the range of $25,000,000 to $100,000,000 and the completion period is 900 calendar days. This solicitation will be issued as an Electronic Bid Set (EBS), and will be available to download on or about 07 November 2005 at: www.nws.usace.army.mil/ct.
