The pre-solicitation notice for Solicitation No. 06SP101619 is currently available. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237110 and the size standard is $31 million in gross annual receipts averaged over the previous three 1-year accounting periods. The estimated price range of the work is $25,000,000 to $50,000,000. The principal features of the work include partial demolition of existing concrete dam and constructing access road, service yards, pumping plant and intake, steel pipelines, and electrical substation. Work includes constructing temporary cofferdams and diverting Rogue River, earthwork, excavating rock, dredging, furnishing and placing gravel surfacing and asphalt pavement, constructing structural reinforced concrete, and furnishing and installing concrete block revetment, steel line pipe, metal pipe culverts, chain link fences, segmental retaining walls, roadway guardrails, prefabricated steel bridge, substation steel structures, metalwork, steel manifolds, metal piping, vertical turbine pumps, valves, mechanical equipment, metal building, heating and ventilating equipment, and electrical equipment and materials. The work is located in Josephine County, Oregon, approximately 5 miles east of Grants Pass. The solicitation will be issued approximately February 1, 2006, and will only be available for downloading directly from the following website: www.usbr.gov/pn/contracts/construction/1619.

We reserve the right to issue the solicitation on paper or CD-ROM if it becomes necessary, and if you are registered on our website, you will be notified by e-mail. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered by this agency.
