Demolition IDIQ
Eglin AFB FL has a requirement for Demolition of Buildings (Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract) on Eglin AFB FL. The NAICS code for this requirement 238910 and size standard of $13M. The acquisition is an 8(a) Program Business Set-a-side. This is a Performance Price Trade Off acquisition and award will be made based upon the Best Value to the Government in accordance with FAR 15.3. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the lowest proposed price. All responsible sources may submit an offer that shall be considered by the agency. This project includes but not limited to the following: furnishing all plant, labor, equipment and materials and performing all operations required for demolition of buildings on Eglin AFB FL on an as required basis. In general, the work includes removal and demolition of buildings, miscellaneous facilities, debris piles, and any other material found in the buildings on Eglin AFB as required per each delivery order. Performance period is one year for the Basic contract plus four (4) One-Year options. The above general description of work does not in any way limit the responsibility of the contractor to perform all work and furnish all labor, materials, and equipment complete in accordance with the specifications. The work is located at Eglin AFB FL, the Eglin Range, and Duke Field FL. Estimated dollar range is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000 for the Basic plus four (4) One-Year option years combined. Performance period is 365 calendar days. This is a paperless acquisition. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be available on the Federal Governments Electronic Posting System (Federal Business Opportunity) on or about 16 January 2008. The ESTIMATED PROPOSAL DUE DATE is 15 February 2008. No response to this notice is necessary and no Source List will be maintained. Prospective contractors must be registered in the DOD Central Contractors Registration (CCR) database and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) (orca.bpn.gov) database prior to award of a Government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the CCR or ORCA database will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS Number. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after closing date, with no obligation to the offeror by the Government.
