Default Inpatient Mental Health Renovations

Construction services of a qualified, responsible, responsive firm having the capability and capacity to furnish all equipment, tools, materials, labor, supervision and expertise for the "Inpatient Mental Health Renovation, Project 614-309 at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center Memphis, TN. Work includes demolition and renovation of the first and second floor of the VA facility totaling approximately 31,590 square feet. Estimated construction cost range is between $5,000,000-$10,000,000. NAICS is 236220. Estimated contract completion is 545 calendar days. This procurement is a FULL & OPEN COMPETITION. All bidders must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration - Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and VETBIZ - VetBiz Registry to be eligible for award. Award is subject to the availability of FY 08 Funds. Bid documents will be available for download at Federal Business Opportunity after December 26, 2007. A deposit in the amount of $100 is required for each hard-copy set of drawings and specifications. These documents are not available for download. Deposits must be in form of a certified or cashier's check, money order or company check made payable to the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Cash or personal checks will NOT be accepted. Deposit is refundable providing bidding materials are returned in good condition 10 calendar days after bid opening. Amendments to this solicitation will be posted to the fedbizopps website. In order to receive e-mail notification of amendments, you must register in fedbizopps to "Receive Notification" of amendments. Bidders are responsible for obtaining and acknowledging all amendments to this solicitation prior to the time of bid opening. Request for hard copies of drawings and specifications must be in writing accompanied by deposit: Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Phyllis Holder, Contracting Officer (90C), 1030 Jefferson Avenue, Memphis, TN 38104.
