Asbestos Abatement of B-3 Crawl Space
This is an EMERGENCY PROCUREMENT for asbestos abatement. Contractor shall provide all labor, tools and materials to remove asbestos waste in the Building No. 3 crawl space at the VA Medical Center, St. Cloud, MN. Project consists of removing and properly disposing of approximately 2740 cubic feet of contaminated soil/asbestos waste in the crawl space of Building 3. Additional soil will need to be removed in some areas in order to accommodate duct work. A drawing is provided to outline the scope of the work and show where the ductwork is to be routed. Electronic solicitation documents may be obtained FREE via the VA Business Opportunities website. No requests for hard copies of solicitation documents will be honored. All questions must be in writing to the Contracting Officer. The drawings are in AutoCAD format and can only be opened with AutoCAD. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will only be available on the VA Business Opportunities website. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining all amendments. Issue date is January 5, 2006 with Bid Opening January 20, 2006. The cost range is $50,000 to $70,000. The NAICS code is 562910 with a size standard of $12.0 Million. No electronic offers will be accepted. Award is subject to the availability of funds.
