This project consists of the following: Demolition and disposal of the existing interior construction of the existing kitchen, restrooms and showers, bunk rooms, offices and activities rooms; Demolition of the existing exterior wall as required by the new addition; Demolition of the existing roofing material as required for installation of the roof insulation and new single ply roof; Demolition of the existing HVAC and plumbing systems; Demolition of the existing electrical systems; Provide new addition for the new bunk rooms; Provide new interior walls, floors, and ceilings; Provide new kitchen, restrooms, showers, laundry, office, dining bunk rooms, dining room, activities room; Provide new HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems; Provide power, lighting, grounding, cable TV, data and telephone; and Provide temporary living facilities, positioned in an adjacent parking lot to be used for the duration of the construction and until a Certificate of Occupancy has been issued for the new facility. The estimated construction magnitude is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The bid opening date shall be 30 calendar days after issuance of the solicitation. The estimated solicitation release date is 24 July 2007.
