Asbestos abatement third floor BLDG 1100. The work for this requirement consists of, but is not limited to the following: Providing all labor, materials, equipment, and tools to perform asbestos abatement and minor demolition of the third floor of bldg 1100. The area to be abated is approximately 150,000 SF. Contractor shall perform asbestos abatement of the fire proofing steel beams and deck below the roof decking as well as floor tiles. Minor demolition shall include, but is not limited to ceiling tile and ceiling grid, carpeting and de-mountable partitions. The order of magnitude for the procurement is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000, and the effort shall be completed within (120) calendar days after receipt of the notice to proceed. This procurement is part of the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. As a result, all qualified responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The NAICS Code and small business size standard for this procurement are 238990 and $13.0 million, respectively. The anticipated release date of the RFP is on or about July 26, 2007, with an anticipated bid closing date of on or about Aug 28, 2007. The firm date for receipt of bids or offers will be stated in the RFP. An organized site visit shall be scheduled and identified in the RFP.
