Building Foundation Stabilization Project
This Project consists of Stuttgart, Arkansas Building Foundation Stabilization Project for Building 1, at the USDA, ARS, National Aquaculture Research Center, Stuttgart, Arkansas. Location: USDA, ARS, National Aquaculture Research Center, Building #1 2955 Hwy. 130E. Almyra, Arkansas 72003 The Work consists of, but is not limited to, Removal and storage (in contractor’s portable buildings or portable trailers) of existing furniture, fixtures, lab casework, equipment, supplies, contents of casework, and miscellaneous items in each office and lab in each phase; demolition of existing walls and finishers; removal and replacement of existing ceilings; removal and replacement of flooring materials; repair and patching of existing concrete slab; modifications to piping supports; disconnecting and reconnecting of electrical items; disconnecting and reconnecting of mechanical and plumbing items; removal and replacement of existing concrete slab; modifications to piping supports; disconnecting and reconnecting of electrical items disconnecting and reconnecting of mechanical and plumbing items; removal and replacement of existing door and with a larger door, frame, hardware, automatic door opener, and associated devices; removal and replacement of existing concrete stoop; modifications to the top runner tracks of interior partitions; reinstallation and leveling of all lab case work, furnishing, countertops & backsplashes, regent shelves, furniture, equipment, etc. removed and stored in each phase of the work; sleeving of roof drains that penetrate the floor slab; installation of wall angles; painting and patching of walls; installation of new bracket supports for reagent shelves and backsplashes; fill and re-grading and re-grassing along perimeter exterior walls; new concrete sidewalk; and other associated items all in accordance with the Contract Documents. Estimated Price Range: $250,000 to $500,000 Pre-Bid Conference scheduled for July 11, 2007 at 10:30 a.m.
