The project includes but is not limited to the demolition and removal of the rooftop Cooling Tower Assembly and associated construction at the Anthony J. Celebrezze Federal Building, 1240 East Ninth Street, Cleveland, Ohio 44199. The cooling tower and associated constructions and services have various locations with asbestos containing materials (ACM) and Lead Based Paint (LBP) that may become hazardous as a result of the demolition and removal activities. This project includes the removal and disposal of these materials. The Contractor shall begin performance within 1 calendar day and complete it within 120 calendar days after receiving notice to proceed. The estimated range of this project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238910 with a size standard of $13 million. This acquisition is being procured as an unrestricted award for full and open competition. All firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to any award resulting from this announcement. Request for Proposals (RFP) will be considered from all responsible sources. The RFP is expected to be issued on or about June 15, 2007, through Government-wide Point of Entry (FEDBIZOPPS).
