Default Smoke Stack Demolition

This notice is issued to obtain interested parties qualified and interested in providing a commercial service proposal prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 12.602 for demolition of a smoke stack at Ellsworth AFB, SD. The contractor shall provide for all supplies, transportation, and labor requirements to full fill the demolition of the smoke stack. The performance period is to be determined. This solicitation will be a participant in the Small Business Competitive Program IAW FAR 19.10. All responsible sources may respond to this issuance. The North American Industry Code is 238910 and the Small Business Size Standard is $13,000,000.00. Interested parties must register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), online at https://www.bpn.gov/CCR/scripts/index.html and must also register at the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) website https://orca.bpn.gov/. The demolition work to be completed will be on a smoke stack built in 1942. The structure has become structurally unsound and has developed cracks along 2/3 of the stack ranging in size from 1 inch to 2 inches. The smoke stack is 95 feet tall and is no longer in use. It was made with a non-reinforced brick masonry construction method with only one brick thick construction towards the top and 2 brick thickness towards the bottom. The instability of the structure is threatening roadways and its associated building. To express interest please e-mail A1C Chranowski at mark.chranowski@ellsworth.af.mil. In your e-mail please provide a point of contact, your companies name and information, your Duns, and other documents you wish to issue. No phone calls will be taken on this subject.
