The Veterans Integrated Service Network #7 (VISN7) Logistics Office (509/10N7/NLO), 1 Freedom Way, Augusta, GA 30904-6285 is contracting for a Full and Open competitive contract for the W.J.B. Dorn VA Medical Center, 6439 Garners Ferry Road, Columbia, SC 29209-1639. The contractor shall provide all tools, labor, materials. Permits, licenses and supervision for demolition and renovation as indicated in drawings and specifications for project 544-317, Nursing Home Care Unit Building 103. Work includes but not limited to general construction, alterations, roads, walks, grading, drainage, mechanical and electrical work, utility systems, elevators, solar energy system alteration, interior demolition, new interior construction, new finishes, carpet, sheet vinyl flooring, solid surface walls and countertops, casework, paint, multi colored coatings, acoustical ceiling, cement fiber board, new exterior construction, storefront windows, hollow metal frames and doors, wood doors, hardware, and necessary removal of existing structures and construction and certain other items. There are ten deductive bid alternates as a part of this solicitation for optimal fiscal responsibility. The solicitation will be issued on/about December 13, 2005, with a proposal response of January 20, 2006. The estimated project dollar amount is between two(2) to five(5) million dollars. Any amendments to this solicitation will be available at the URL address and offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments at the FedBizOpp website.
