Default Bonneville Lock and Dam First Powerhouse Intake

The Portland District Corps of Engineers intends to award a contract for the demolition of the 130-ton Intake Gantry Crane, located at Bonneville Lock & Dam First Powerhouse. In addition to the demolition, this contract will require the contractor to remove intake gates, vertical barrier screens, submerged traveling screens, and various other large steel scrap from the powerhouse. The administrative point of contact are Kathryn Newhouse (503) 808-4620, email Kathryn.A.Newhouse@nwp01.usace.army.mil. The technical point of contact is Michael Magee, (503) 808-4873, email Michael.S.Magee@nwp01.usace.army.mil. A CD will be issued which w ill include the drawings. Please contact Kathryn Newhouse by Email for more information and/or to request a CD when they become available. In accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program (FAR 19.10) this procurement shall go out unrestricted. The small business size standard for this procurement is $13,000,000. The Solicitation Package (technical data package) will be available for download from FedTeDs, www.fedteds.gov on or about 09 April 2007 with proposals due about 30 days after issue. Interested vendors must register in advance to download this solicitation.
