The work includes construction of a Primary Leadership Development Course (PLDC) Building, an Administration Building, an Organizational Maintenance Shop (OMS) addition, construction of parking and drives, landscaping, demolition of 9 wood framed structures, related site and utility work, and incidental related work. The OMS Building Addition is a pre-engineered addition to an existing metal building and includes alteration to the existing building. The OMS building addition houses a vehicle maintenance work bay and storage areas. OMS Building addition has heating, ventilation, and electrical services, vehicle exhaust system, and an oil/water separator. Building demolition requires abatement of lead based paint and asbestos containing building materials. Meeting sustainable design goals is part of the Work. Options are A) Asphalt paving in lieu of gravel, B) Drill pad and walks west of Admin/PLDC, C) Miscellaneous electrical options, D) Building demolition, E) Sewer and water service for Phase 2, F) Bury overhead utilities along O St, G) Use ductile iron for base bid water mains, H) Use ductile iron for Option E water mains, I) Construct OMS Bldg addition/alterations and J) Additional landscaping. The project will be based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) procurement. Proposals will be evaluated based on the following technical factors: Prime Contractor Construction Experience, Prime Contractor Construction Past Performance and Past Performance on Utilization of Small, Small Disadvantaged and Women-Owned Small Businesses. This solicitation is subject to the Price Evaluation Preference for HubZone Small Business Concerns. NAICS 236220. Estimated Cost Range is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000.
