Default Military Family Housing Demolition

Provide all labor, equipment, tools, transportation and final disposal at an approved landfill or as otherwise specified to accomplish all work associated with Military Family Housing Demolition, Project SHA 07-0060 at Shaw AFB, SC. The requirement consists of demolishing military family housing and the abatement of Asbestos. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204(h) the estimated magnitude is more than $10,000,000.00. The National American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) code for this procurement is 238910. The Small Business Size Standard is $13M. This procurement will be 100% 8(a) set-aside for certified 8(a) Program Participants on the Small Business Administration (SBA) list of Qualified 8(a) Small Business Concerns. From this solicitation, a Requirements construction contract is to be awarded on a Performance/Price Tradeoff (PPT) Best Value basis. The period of performance for the contract is expected to include a one-year base period with four one-year option periods. Any prospective certified 8(a) contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award. Additional information on CCR is available at (888) 227-2423 and at http://www.ccr.gov. The Request for Proposal issue date will be on or about 4 Apr 07. A pre-proposal /site visit will be held prior to proposal due date. The site visit date and time, will be in the solicitation. The solicitation, statement of work and any other documents will be in a Microsoft Word format or .pdf format. No hard copies of the document will be provided. Offeror are encourage and requested to review this site periodic for changes or amendment(s) to this required
