Blaine County Excavation Reissue
This is an excavation project in Blaine County Montana near Chinook. The contractor is to furnish labor, equipment, supplies and materials, to excavate material from four existing reservoirs and place as directed. Work will be conducted when favorable moisture conditions exist or other times when the water level in the reservoirs and/or the water table in the work areas is as low as possible. The line items read as follows: 1) Sitting Bull Reservoir Site - 1 lump sum; 2) Runway Reservoir Site - 1 lump sum; 3) Olson Pit Reservoir Site - 1 lump sum; and 4) Kincaid/Sage Reservoir Site - 1 lump sum.
A Site Tour is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, December 13, 2005 at 9 a.m. All interested contractors are to meet at the Chinook Post Office located in Chinook Montana. Please provide your own transportation; a high clearance four wheel drive vehicle is recommended due to travel over unimproved roads and trails will be required. Please see the Request for Quote for any date changes.
The Request for Quote will close on Wednesday, January 4, 2006 with award scheduled within a few days of opening. The period of performance is tentatively scheduled between January 9 and November 16, 2006 with the project itself estimated to take approximately 30 days to complete. This project is estimated to be under $25,000 and is a Small Business Set-Aside. Central Contractor Registration (www.ccr.gov) is required. Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) is also now required. Information about ORCA will be included in the solicitation.
