Default Laboratory Expansion at the U.S. Clark R. Bavin National Fish and Wildlife Forensics

Laboratory Expansion at the U.S. Clark R. Bavin National Fish and Wildlife Forensics Laboratory The project includes construction of approximately 15,290 square feet additional laboratory, storage and office space and renovation of the existing building. The expansion will include various laboratory spaces as well as a level III biological containment lab, offices, conference space and other associated areas. Areas of the existing laboratory will also be renovated. The project is located in Ashland, Oregon. Estimated cost of the project is $7,000,000 to $10,000,000. A pre-bid conference will be held at the project site tentatively scheduled for Thurs December 8. It is estimated that Plans and specifications will be available November 28th, 2005. Please use FedBizOpps www.fbo.gov to locate instructions on how to download specifications. In the Solicitation package you will be directed to a site for posting your requests for information. PLEASE DO NOT CALL THE CONTRACT SPECIALIST FOR TECHNICAL INFORMATION. This Request for Proposal will be evaluated for Best Value to the Government. Tentative Schedule: Nov 28 - Solicitation Package out to bid Dec 8 & 9 - Pre bid conference at the Lab Jan 17 - Bid Opening Jan 17 - 31 - Proposal Evaluation & Negotiation Feb 6 - Contract Award
