Default Emergency Construction & Demolition, Faa Southern Region

This is a two-phase acquisition with the intent to award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contracts for a base year and 4 option years to general construction contractors for requirements resulting from hurricanes or other emergencies in the Southern Region (FL, GA, AL, MS, SC, NC, TN, KY, PR, & Offshore FAA Facilities) to include, but not be limited to, the following potential work: General Demolition; Immediate Restoration of National Airspace System Infrastructure (roofs, walls, roads, equipment, and includes material purchase & installation); HVAC Repair/Replacement; General Debris & Trash Clean-Up and Removal; Tree Clearing/ Removal; Road/Drainage System Repair/Replacement; Fence Repair/Replacement; Fire Alarm system Repair, Replacement including but not limited to fire-stop, fireproofing materials, equipment & controls removal & replacement; Roofing Assessment/ Design/ Installation/ Repair; Structural Repair or Replacement for Buildings, Shelters, Drainage Structures, Roadways; Replacement/Repair of Mechanical and Electrical Systems; Engine Generator Assessment/Repair/Replacement; and Building Finishes Interior/ Exterior. As a result of this SIR, the FAA intends to short-list firms for consideration based on technical qualifications and experience as identified in this document. Short-listed firms will then be asked to provide pricing data in response to a Request for Offers (RFO) for consideration, and multiple awards will be made based on overall best value to the FAA. Contractors must have the capability to perform any and all work that may be requested in these categories and are requested to submit the following information in order for the technical qualifications of their firms to be evaluated. For subcontracting opportunities, the names of general contractors expressing an interest in this work will be made available.
