Project Number 061008, Period of Performance is 365 days, with four (4) one (1) year options. The estimated cost of the proposed acquisition is between $1,000,000 to $5,000,000, over the 5-year total life of the program. The scope of work requires removal of asbestos (in its many forms and uses) in connection with the Base-wide Asbestos On-call program at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. It will also be necessary for the contractor to respond to emergency, no-notice requirements. In accordance with DFARS 252.204-704 Required Central Contractor Registration, Contractor must be registered in CCR prior to award. Registration may be accomplished at https://www.bpn.gov/ccr/scripts/index.html, or 1-888-CCR-2423 Fax: 1-703-696-0213. NOTES: 1. In accordance with FAR 19.502-2, the Contracting Officer reserves the right to issue the solicitation as a total small business set-aside. That determination shall be made according to the number of and business size of the registrants for this acquisition under this pre-solicitation notice. 2. Because of the need to meet emergency requirements, only contractors within a fifty (50) mile radius of Wright-Patterson AFB shall be considered. 3. The solicitation, specifications and drawings will be available on the World Wide Web on or about 1 July 2006, at http://www.fedbizopps.wpafb.af.mil. 4. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be provided. You may, however, download and print the file from the web site. 5. There is no fee for this solicitation. 6. There are approximately 34 pages of the solicitation and 136 pages of the specifications. 7. A hard copy of the solicitation will be available for review at Dayton Builders Exchange, Minority Contractors Business Assistance Program, and F.W. Dodge Division. 8. A registration page will be attached to the web site. You are not required to register. However, when you register, you will receive notice of any amendments and/or addenda that may be issued to the solicitation. If you have not registered, it will be your responsibility to check the web site for any changes to the solicitation. 9. You shall provide a signed copy of the SF 1442 by the proposal closing date specified in the solicitation. There will not be a public bid opening. Contractors that are Debarred, Suspended, or Proposed for Debarment are excluded from receiving contracts. Agencies also shall not consent to subcontract with these contractors.
