The estimated cost of the proposed acquisition is between $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. The scope required renovation of two floors and a penthouse of the facility including architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical and miscellaneous work. The first option is to provide an elevator. The second option is to provide systems and loose furniture as well as furniture signage. The government reserves the right to exercise one or both options depending on the final prices submitted. In accordance with DFARS 252.204-704 Required Central Contractor Registration, Contractor must be registered in CCR prior to award. Registration may be accomplished at https://www.bpn.gov/ccr/scripts/index.html, or 1-888-CCR-2423 Fax: 1-703-696-0213. NOTES: 1. In accordance with FAR 19.803, the Contracting Officer intends to reserve this acquisition as a full and open competition restricted to 8(a) sources. 2. The solicitation, specifications and drawings will be available on the World Wide Web on or about 1 July 2006, at http://www.fedbizopps.wpafb.af.mil. 3. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be provided. You may, however, download and print the file from the web site. 4. There is no fee for this solicitation. 5. There are approximately 32 pages of the solicitation and 789 pages of the specifications. 6. A hard copy of the solicitation will be available for review at Dayton Builders Exchange, Minority Contractors Business Assistance Program, and F.W. Dodge Division. 7. A registration page will be attached to the web site. You are not required to register. However, when you register, you will receive notice of any amendments and/or addenda that may be issued to the solicitation. If you have not registered, it will be your responsibility to check the web site for any changes to the solicitation. 8. You shall provide a signed copy of the SF 1442 by the proposal closing date specified in the solicitation. There will not be a public bid opening. Contractors that are Debarred, Suspended, or Proposed for Debarment are excluded from receiving contracts. Agencies also shall not consent to subcontract with these contractors. The current status is Pre-Solicitation and it is a Category Z-Maintenance, repair and alteration of real property program.
