Pressure Washers are electric-powered and diesel-heated

Kärcher, the world's largest manufacturer of pressure washers, has introduced a new line of portable hot water pressure washers that are electric-powered and diesel-heated.

There are three models with cleaning range of 2 to 3.5 GPM (gallons per minute) and 1,000 to 2,000 PSI (pounds per square inch) of pressure. All feature a rugged, steel chassis and cage painted with an epoxy powder coat finish for all-weather protection.

As with other Kärcher pressure washers, the new series features industrial-grade components throughout, including: a cold-rolled, heating coil made of ½-inch, Schedule 80, steel pipe; a high-efficiency burner with transformer, safety rupture disk, thermal pump saver; and a water-resistant, easy-to-access control box, which houses the switches, magnetic starter and adjustable thermostat.

The new models are powered by industrial-grade motors and feature two electrical configurations, 120V and 230V single phase. All models also feature a direct-drive, crankcase Kärcher high-pressure pump with 5-year warranty.

Other features of this line of hot-water pressure washers include:
o A rust-free, 6-gallon, polyethylene fuel tank for the diesel or fuel oil used in heating the water;
o Fatigue-free trigger gun with variable pressure wand for remote operation of the spray and low-pressure application of the soap;
o Four all-terrain, tubed, pneumatic tires for easy maneuvering;
o 50 ft. of non-marking, color-coded wire-braid hose rated for up to 3000 PSI;
o Tri-lingual operating instructions in English, French and Spanish;
o ETL certified to both UL and CSA safety standards;
o Ground-fault interrupter for operator safety.
