I saw an attachment in a magazine the other day and I am trying to track it down. It's a breaker that actually fits around a chimney to demo it. It was pretty cool looking; if I find it again I will post some pictures.
James,
I saw the same thing in operation the last time I was in the UK. I took some picturews of it and when I get back to the office I will try and find them.
James,
I am still looking for the brochure. I think the thing you are talking about is made in Japan and was in Demolition and Recycling magazine.
Looking for information on the internet however, I was suprised to find out that there is a province in China named Liaoning. It is heavily industrialized, in fact they call it the "Ruhr Valley" of China. The Chinese government has been trying to clean it up and in the past several years they have blasted over 1000 chimneys ranging in height from 50 meters to 225 meters.
