A lightweight, battery-operated crane scale that requires minimal head space and has a wireless remote control with a sealed keypad is being introduced by Alliance Scale, Inc. of Canton, Massachusetts.
The Alliance/Eilon Ron 2501 Crane Scale operates with low head room and features a wireless remote control that has a five digit 0.5" LCD display and a sealed keypad with max., enter, zero, tare, and On/Off. Ideal for in-plant use, the scale can be equipped with an optional heat shield and the held control provides an overload- and low battery warning.
Available in models with up to 600,000 lbs. capacity, the Alliance/Eilon Ron 2501 Crane Scale is accurate to ±0.1%FS and can be user calibrated. The load cell enclosure is extruded aluminum; iridized and polyurethane coated and the hook and lifting eye are Crosby-Laughlin or equivalent. The load cell and remote both operate on standard alkaline disposable batteries.
