Default New BTS 1140L3 cut-off saw from Wacker Neuson

The new BTS 1140L3 cut-off saw from Wacker Neuson embodies cutting power and durability for high productivity

With the new BTS 1140L3, Wacker Neuson has expanded the performance range of its already significant line of cut-off saws. This product also extends the proven L3 (Long Life Lubrication) technology to cut-off saws with a diameter of 400 mm. The BTS 1140L3 has a cutting depth of 147 mm. Its new multi-rib belt ensures that power is transmitted as efficiently as possible from the 4.5-kW motor to the cutting disk and ultimately to the material being cut. The belt is also extremely durable.

A robust and durable design
Cut-off saw BTS 1140L3 backs up its strong cutting power with a robust and durable design, based on two elements: the unique and tested L3 (Long Life Lubrication) piston and an innovative filter design. The L3 piston has a special graphite coating that prevents the piston and cylinder from overheating during continuous operation on a construction site. The graphite coating also provides protection from dirt and inadequate lubrication. The new, user-friendly air filter design directs the flow of air so that the machine’s natural vibration will automatically shake dust out of the preliminary filter. A large, oiled pre-filter also greatly extends the filter's service life.

Proven yet innovative
Additional user-friendly characteristics include: A silicon coating protects the starter rope from being pulled out and an easily-adjustable cutting blade guard enables the operator to prepare quickly for the task at hand. Despite its innovative design, BTS 1140L3 retains many traditional characteristics. Like its predecessors, the new model not only has the highest power-to-weight ratio in its class, it also exhibits outstanding ergonomics that make it the easiest tool of this type to use.
