Tools, Equipment, & AttachmentsHave you heard about the latest tool or piece of equipment? Do you have any favorites? Whether it's hydraulic, air, electrical, or mechanical that uses grapples, hammers, shears or wrecking balls, you can talk about all of it here.
Italy-based IHIMER, the joint venture between IHI and IMER, is to introduce a new mini-dumper at the SAIE exhibition in Bologna. The Carry 107, has a power take-off with a flow capacity of 14 liters (approx 3.6 gallons) per minute making it suitable for demolition tools and other attachments.
The Carry 107 has a standard Honda 6.6 or 8.2 kW engine (with pull or electric start), but an optional 7.5 kW Yanmar diesel engine can also be installed (with electric start), which is said to offer better fuel consumption.
We have had great success with the Tracked Haulers from Crete Busters. It will go through a standard door, haul over 1/2 ton and dump into a 20yd dumpster. See it on youtube.com, search "tracked hauler."
Crete Busters is a contractor that specializes in confined space excavation and interior demolition and we purchased some of the Tracked Haulers to use with our mini excavator and brokk robot for our own projects. Then along the way we started seeing more and more ways they could be used and more people asking about them so we secured a distributorship. So now we have a division that sells them and rents them.
