Default PowerTech launches new version of its PicBucket

Power Tech Corporation Inc. is pleased to announce the launch of a new version of its PicBucket - the 3000 Series. This new model of its multi-functional percussion bucket follows the success of its 1000 and 2000 Series, which the Company has already commercialized.

By expanding its product line, PowerTech aims to respond to a greater range of needs in the construction industry. The new 3000 Series was developed for demolition and excavation work carried out using 8.5 and 16 ton excavators. The 3000 Series buckets are available in 18, 24 and 30 inch versions. They feature a new design, are even more rugged and use more powerful hydraulic cells.

"From its founding, PowerTech established a rigorous technological development program to meet the various excavation needs of the construction industry. Following the very conclusive results achieved with our earlier series, we have met the challenge to apply this same technology and know-how to serve the mid-sized excavator market," said Mr. Carol Murray, the Company's President and Chief Executive Officer.

"Already, several potential clients, including municipalities and construction entrepreneurs, have confirmed their interest to conduct trials with the new 3000 Series. Like the 1000 and 2000 Series, PowerTech's newest percussion bucket will enable its users to achieve highly significant productivity gains compared to using conventional equipment," said Mr. Yves Sicotte, PowerTech's Vice-President, Sales and Marketing.

Technological development focused on industry needs

In recent years, PowerTech has developed close links with various players in the construction industry. "We are listening to the industry's needs and this is what guides us in the development of products which can offer new potential applications. As part of our technological development program we make sure that our products, before reaching the commercialization phase, are put through a series of specific tests in real construction site conditions with the assistance of seasoned entrepreneurs. This process ensures that our product is both effective and meets the genuine and urgent needs of our target clienteles," added Mr. Sicotte.
