Two new gasoline breakers from WACKER
Wacker Construction Equipment AG is introducing two new gasoline breakers. Model BH 24 exhibits unparalleled performance while BH 24 Low Vib is preferred for extremely low hand-arm vibrations (HAV). High productivity, ease of maintenance, and a long service life are characteristics common to both units.
Highest single-stroke impact energy
Breaker BH 24 generates 65 joules, giving it extremely high demolition power and the highest single-stroke impact energy of any gasoline breaker currently available on the market. The proven and powerful WM 80 motor works in conjunction with a new tubular-piston impacter to deliver this incredible power. This specialized breaking and demolition tool is simultaneously comfortable and easy to operate over extended periods of time thanks to new spring mounting that noticeably reduces hand-arm vibrations. In particular, full-hood spring-mounting greatly dampens vibrations the operator feels when bracing the machine against his body.
Long operating times
The combination of high breaking performance and low HAV values makes the BH 24 especially productive. Model BH 24 Low Vib exhibits particularly low HAV values of 4.9 m/s2, making it a highly productive unit. The low HAV values of both breakers permit long operating times according to EU vibration directive 2002/44/EC. Operators can even run BH 24 Low Vib for up to eight hours per day.
Extended operation of up to two hours without refueling is facilitated on both units by the 2.1-liter fuel tank. A centralized lubrication nipple simplifies and accelerates maintenance by enabling greasing of the entire unit at the construction site with one small grease press. Models BH 24 and BH 24 Low Vib have shanks for all common tools.
