Default Bosch’s new GSH 16 Demolition Hammer

• Highest removal rates for concrete (B25/30) in the 16 kg (35 pounds) hammer class
• Service life more than twice as long as competitor tools
• Lowest investment costs calculated according to the working hour
• Leading the way in vibration protection

The new 16-kilo demolition hammer from Bosch redefines the power tool class for heavy-duty demolition work. This now offers the professional a relatively lightweight tool for breaking hard concrete quickly. Despite its low weight, the hammer has extremely high impact force: the GSH 16 smashes approximately 1700 kilograms of B25/30 concrete in one hour. This is roughly 60 percent more than the most powerful competitor tool. A decisive factor in achieving this is the pneumatic hammer mechanism with a single impact energy of up to 45 newtonmeters and the 1750-watt motor.

In comparative tests, the new Bosch Demolition Hammer also proved its great superiority when it comes to service life. It worked for more than twice as many hours as the best competitor tool. This makes it especially profitable to invest in this demolition hammer. The GSH 16 from Bosch incurs the lowest tool costs based on the cost per working hour.

This Bosch Demolition Hammer also sets new standards in vibration protection. The GSH 16 causes the lowest vibrations in comparison to other tools in this class. This vibration protection not only pays off in the short-term because the professional does not need to take as many breaks in his work. Vibration protection is a long-term investment in health and ability to work because the consequences of excessive strain often only take effect after a number of years. This is why Bosch also attaches particular importance to the haptics and ergonomics of the handle. What's more, the rubber-coated handle offers plenty of space for two hands, which makes heavy-duty work on the construction site easier.

The on/off switch is easy to reach with one finger. The user does not have to let go of the handle to press the switch. The convenient switch position prevents the user from unintentionally switching the tool on or off.

There is a practical, lightweight carrying case made of tough plastic with integrated wheels, allowing for easy transportation of the demolition hammer.

The demolition hammers are available in two versions: GSH 16-28 Professional and GSH 16-30 Professional. They have hexagonal shanks with 28 or 30 millimeters.

By way of accessories, Bosch offers pointed, flat, spade and asphalt chisels as well as tamping plates. The new demolition hammers combined with the new self-sharpening Bosch pointed chisels deliver particularly good work results
