Anybody ever buy equipment off Ebay?

I have heard a couple contractors around here are starting to buy equipment and some attachments on Ebay. Just curious if anybody here has.

I personally have not bought large equipment, but have bought some tools and had great success.

I was tempted by a Miller welding machine, but when I told my welding supplier about it, he said he would match the pricing for me ( he even said he would include the tax!). I haven't taken him up on it yet though. I t was more of a want than a need.

That is a good deal, because most companies won't match internet prices.

I've bought a LOT of supplie from him over the years, so he owes me.

I was looking at one of those 110volt shouder slung wire welders for messing around the house (the kids want me to build a go kart, yikes!).
