I know of a company around hear that has bins that hold all their copper/wiring, once it goes in the workers can't get it back out. It a bin that has a like a 2"-3" tube where there wire goes in and it's hard to grab it back out.

I am not sure you can stop it completely, but they also include a bonus if the projetc comes in under budget and the workers will split the recycling cash. So it does give them some type of incentive.

You know, there is something wrong when the Midas muffler shop has a guard and the bank doesn't.

That's funny. There's a ring around here that were going under parked cars and removing the catalytic converters right in people's driveways. It's crazy!

We are doing some consulting work involving scrapping the Russian Submarine fleet and did you know that the average sub contains 200,000 lbs of copper?
I had to do some head scratching on that one.
