Default ins and outs of mutilation

Can anyone give me information about mutilation of scrap metal, specifically truck radiators. In this case, does this mean just poking a large enough hole in the radiator so that it is impossible to patch, or does this mean that the whole radiator must be crushed? thanks for your time.

Is this for a de-mil job or is this a private source? I am assuming that the current owner doesn't want liability for reuse. Vehicular radiators will have to be processed by the scrap dealer you take them to so I would say poking a hole in them would be sufficient.

this job would be a military bid. The bid would require mutilation onsite and it must be signed by some certified person. If all that mutilation would require is to poke a hole in them, it would be much easier.

It has to be rendered unusuable for it's original use.

IMO They will probably require you to crush it
