I thought I would post an update on my latest project.
It is a 250 gallon saltwater fish tank installed in my home office. I am currently upgrading some of the components and it is currently going through its cycles and I will be adding some fish around the end of March/mid April, depending on how the cycles go. I will keep you updated.
That's pretty cool looking. What is the daily maintenance like? I would love to have an aquarium but travelling so much, I don't think I could give it the proper care.
I have a couple of ponds and with the smaller pond we bought a bunch of ornamental fish and one morning I woke up and was making a pot of coffee and the biggest heron I have ever seen in my life was wading in the pond helping himself to a high $$$ breakfast.
Daily maintenance is so bad, just feeding the fish. It is the monthly and quarterly maintenance that doesn’t make it fun. Changing the water, the filter, cleaning the gravel, the coral, etc.
Thanks for the comment, so far even without the fish, its a great space. I fell like I am looking out to the ocean. Whenevr it gets stressful I just look up.
