Does it go to the same place stray socks do?

Knock on wood, I have never lost a piece of luggage domestically or internationally so I guess I'm due. (I also went twenty years without a car accident and then got rear ended twice in one year.)

I was down in Scottsboro, Alabama looking at a project in a paper mill (Smurfit-Stone) and I ran across a store there that sells the contents of all the lost unclaimed luggage from around the country. It has all kinds of interesting stuff for sale. There are lots of cheap MP3 players. They were selling some poor priests ceremonial clothing I bought a metal identification kit for $15 and an iPod for $50. They also had a bunch of Bose noise cancellation headsets for cheap cheap. I don't know if I would feel comfortable wearing somebody else's shoes though.
