Default So how much snow?

I was pretty busy yesterday and didn't get a chance to ask. How much snow did you Nor'eastern get? Seems like it was a lot in some of the areas.

I got 22" at my house. I live on top of a big hill so our house becomes party central when it snows. All my buddies with little kids come over to go sledding. Plus we have a natural gas fired bonfire pit to keep them thawed out.

Man, my kids would be jealous, we got some flurries here Sunday afternoon. It was the first time my 5 year old had ever seen snow of any kind. He went nuts for about 20 minutes then realized just how cold it was.

Hope you haven't had too much difficulty with the deep snow.

It was a really wet snow which made it heavy and a pain to shovel or plow. My driveway is just under a 1/4 mile long and the first plow broke down in the middle of it so we spent a couple of hours getting him back in commission.
The kiddos were dissapointed because it snowed on the weekend and they only missed one day of school.

My kids would go nuts too.

Up here they are telling us we are going to have a deep freeze for the next couple of days. I know it's not like back east. We are going to have lows in the single digits and highs in the 10's and low 20's. They are saying it hasn't been this cold for about 10 years. Thursday is supposed very windy so the wind chill will be a factor.

We went from 24 degrees to 54 degrees and now it is all melting. My ponds are overflowing in a major way.
