I am not sure if you guys around the country but it rains in Seattle. Today marks the 25th day in a row we have had measurable rainfall. The record is 33 days, which happened in 1953.
I have lived in the Seattle area for over 20 years and I am ready to move.
We have'nt had the rain but we have had unseasonably weather fluctations. Afew days ago we had mild snow flurries in the AM, the next day was nearly 70 degrees. Kinda makes it hard to dress for outside work huh?
It's now day 26! What's more is in the past 26 days we have already had a 1/3 of our rainfall for a normal entire year! I have a 500 gallon pond out front of my house and It has been "over it's banks" for days now.
On Saturday the temperature dropped from 67 to 27 and we had 50 mph winds, snow and a thunderstorm at the same time. We had a lot of rain the week before so that a lot of trees were downed. We live on top of a big hill so we caught the brunt of it.. The only major calamity was that the pond pump was zapped.
