Default It's Going To Be A Good Christmas

If scrap prices stay where they are With all the mining strikes around the world it looks like copper is going to blow through $4/lb.

In a related note, on Sept 1st a new Alabama law went into effect that requires scrap dealers to get personal info on peddlers and to pay via check only for sales over $100.00. I guess we'll see how this works out...

I know that is what they were planning here, but on any amount. I haven't heard anything lately about it. The law is was also that they would send checks out via mail, not on the spot.

I have a report that forecasts copper hitting andstaying above $4 per pound for most of 2008.

I have to run to a prebid meeting/walk through but I will post it later.

We are still pulling lead out. We are getting $1.30/lb.

I am thinking about raiding the tackle box
