I for one am more than a little ashamed that the U of A has spent so much money for a coach... I guess we know where our priorities lie, huh?

C'mon doesn't Alabama live and breathe Crimson Tide football? I am still surprised he left LSU in the first place.

I am still a believer that most college coaches to not make good NFL coaches.

I just think that Mal Moore (UA Athletics Director) is looking for another Bear Bryant, but has lost sight of the fact that Bryant had nearly thirty years as coach to create his legacy. Moore (and the rest of the trustees) want an over night sensation to recapture that era and it's not gonna happen.

I think some college coaches have NFL potential, but now we've got a college coach with an NFL salary and he's gonna get paid regardless of performance.
