Default Will the Dow go over 11,000?

I am curious if anybody is watching the stock market? It will be interesting if the Dow does hit 11K hasn’t been there in awhile. They all seem to be talking about a housing bubble bursting but yet you see all the new reports coming out and now they are saying what housing bubble.

I don't think it will. The market has the Republican whammy on it. Since 1904 the market has never gone up while a Republican has been in office. No politics, just a fact.

It's getting close to 11,000, just not sure if there is enough stream to make it there by years end.

I think you are right Robert, I don't think it's going hit by years end. With GMs problem and Coke's new problems. Just ain't going to happen.

It's tax sell off time too. Everybody (who has them ) has to get rid of their dogs so they can utilize the write off.

I had a pretty good year on the stock market too. Actually, I had a pretty good year all the way around. I had gains on stocks this year of 65%,85%,72% and 128%. One was a mining company, the others were Coal,Cement and Title Insurance.
