Default No liquids please!

Dateline: Atlanta
The personal grooming products are piling up out side the security checkpoints at Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson. Some people are grumbling about losing their gels and aftershaves but most are taking it in stride. Luckily I had to check my bags so no worries there. The most grumbling I heard was from the TSA agents at security; they are wishing they didn't have to confiscate "all this junk". Maybe they should donate it to a homeless shelter...

Default no carry ons

I am currently on a project in the UK. Here you can not have any carry ons at this point. Hopefully that will change before I return to the states.

That's a big reason why we are buying a corporate jet.

No water? What about spit? Is it a federal offense to spit on a plane?

If you fly British Airways, no cell phones, laptops, Blackberrrys, and they won't even let you take on the remote to your car alarm that is on your key chain.

Looks like the TSA lifted some restrictions:

The Transportation Security Administration announced new rules Sunday giving airline passengers permission to carry up to 4 ounces of liquid nonprescription medicine.
