Scanner recommendations?

I am looking for a new photo scanner. I have one already but it is made for win98 only and there are no drivers available for XP anywhere, trust me I looked.

I prefer and only want a stand alone model, don’t want scanner/printer/fax combo. I already have one. But don't like to quality of the "scan"

Any suggestions?

Sorry James, I haven't used a stand alone since I got a multi. I can see the benefits though.

Thanks demobud, I actually installed it again and guess what? It worked after trying 4 other times.
