I know it's early in the season, but who is going to the Superbowl?
Boy, did my Seahawks look bad on Sunday. They looked good in the first half, but in the second half they just couldn't do anything.
And kudos to the fans in Carolina giving the New Orlean Saints a standing ovation!!!
Didn't catch anymore games due to being out of town.
Boy, the Seahawks look like they are on their way to another 9-6 season. The first half they looked like they were going to blow Atlanta out. The defense contained Vick very well.
Then, the second half came and they were just content. The play calling turned to crap. It was like "we" can win if we just run the ball to the left and run the ball to the right. I had a feeling that they were playing so tight that the Falcons were going to come back. Luckily, they held on.
Carolina & New England
I am not sure if Carolina was that good or if New England played so bad. I think it was a combination of both. I have never seen the Patriots look so beatable and also committing 12 penalties for 86 yards. Wow!
Cincinnati & Minnesota
Man, oh man! The downfall of the Minnesota Vikings. They were awful. Are the Bengals for real at 2-0? I would think Coach Tice's job is on the line this year.
Well Well Well, I am not even sure where to start, seems like the Seahawks are going to end up at 9-7 or 8-8. They just can't put back to back good games together. If the defense is playing well the offense sucks or vice versa.
2. Lack of any team leadership Ray Lewis is supposed to be the leader of the defense but we aren't even going to go there.........
3. Lack of responsibility. They almost tied the league record for penalties last week. Two players were ejected for contact with the ref. But in all the interviews I saw, almost to a man they blamed the referees. Like anybody's going to believe that of all the teams in the league the refs are singleling out the Ravens. Besides, Mike Carey was the head ref and he is one of the best in the league.
4. Lack of a training camp. This spring the Ravens opened up a bazillion dollar training facility. It is equipped with big screen TV's and Playstations and a 24 hour dining gourmet dining facility. All their lockers have internet access. It has an indoor field as well as 2 outdoor playing fields. During training camp if the weather was too hot or too rainy they practice indoors. They also didn't run full contact. The local press named it "Camp Powder Puff" The offensive line looks like it is showing the brunt of it. Midway through the first quarter they are all tired and can barely walk off the field in order to plop themselves on the bench.
Man that sounds like a total mess. It's amazing these guys make so much money and yet the need to have a locker room with all the "stuff". I am sure all of them have all that stuff at home already.
Now I see why that called it "Camp Poweder Puff", I heard some of the stuff on the news.
It will be interesting what they do against the Browns this weekend.
Well the Seahawks put up some great numbers against the Texans. I was worried that they were going to have a let down after beating St Louis last week.
Next week is going to be a tough game. Dallas is starting to come around and looking really good.
