The bookies are calling last Sunday "Black Sunday". Out of 15 games the favorites won 12 and covered the spread on every one of them plus the Monday Night Blowout.
It looks like it maybe the Colts and the Seahawks in the Superbowl. I just don't see any chance if they both have home field advantage throughout the playoffs I just don't see either one of the losing at home. It will be interesting what happens on Christmas Eve, The Colts and The Seahawks play each other. By then both may have home field and the division wrapped up. So do you play your starters or?
The Colts are beatable, San Diego had a perfect game plan going in shut down Edgrrin James and make Peyton beat them. Manning was sacked 4 times and hit something like 8 times.
It will be interesting to see if the Colts play their starters on Sunday against the Seahawks. The Seahawks still need a win or a Chicago Bears loss to have home field throughout the playoffs.
Even though the Packers are terrible, The Ravens looked like a SuperBowl team last night. If it was one of Brett Farve’s last games it was sad to see him go out like that. Farve in my book is a good guy.
The sad part is that there were as many Packer fans there as were Ravens fans.. Is was easy to tell them apart. The temperature was in the low teens and the Raven fans had every piece of clothing they owned on and the Packers fans were wearing shorts!
Thats a great story. I remember when the Seahawks were bad it used to be the visiting fan out numbered the Hawk fans almost 3:1. But it still seems like in any stadium when the Raiders play; there are more Raiders fans than the home team’s.
I think that a lot of Packers fans were there because they thought it was Brett Favre's last game.
Typically, we have more Steelers fans than Ravens fans when Pittsburgh comes to town.
In baseball it's the same thing with Yankees fans.
Now the Seahawks have home field advantage throughout the playoffs.
I think if the Hawks do not make it to the Super Bowl it’s because they beat themselves, since 2003 at home, the Hawks are 24-4 including going 8-0 this year.
Also after scoring his 27th touchdown of the year and leading the league in rushing (1807) and helping your team go 13-2 it’s time to hand the MVP to Shaun Alexander.
