Local Chamber of Commerce’s

I am curious if anyone here is a member of their local Chamber of Commerce?

Have you ever received a job from it or a good lead?

What have been your experiences with their Chamber, good or bad; I'd like to hear it

James,
We're a member of our Chamber of Commerce here in MA. Not sure if it brings us any work. The dues are cheap and it is a respected organization...so the affiliation can't hurt. They have regular business events that I suppose I should attend but don't. I cannot think of a negative to joining especially if you could attend the events.

I have thought about joining, but I am just not sure if I would benefit from it or not. That is why I poised the question here.

I have attended a couple events but nothing ever became of anything with any job leads.
