How do you get certified for demolition in CT or your state? I am not a demolition contractor but I come across alot of demo work and would like to get certified. thanks in advance.
Empire,
CT can be a very difficult state to work in (especially as and out of state contractor, which I am (massachusetts)). Part of the license application was to list in detail every project you were on and what your specific duty was. The inspector/administrator want dates to go allong with the jobs and did not want to see any gaps. It was a difficult task. If you are an in state contractor you might have better luck. They also require sales tax bonds, which they hold for 3 years. And on renovation work they tax everything (6% of your total contract). Good luck

I just went through the CT song and dance. You also have to provide a certificate of insurance and 3 letters of recommendation.
The Blasters license is easier to get than the demolition contractors
