NDA Annual Convention February 24-27, 2008

For the first time in a awhile I will be attending the NDA Convention, that is if they let me in.

But, due to other commitments I will only be there the first day, Sunday the 24th.

So if your are going let me know and maybe we can put a forum meet-up together and grab some dinner and drinks.

Looking forward to meeting some of you.

I haven't joined yet. I am debating on wether or not to. Is it worth it to join the NDA?

It's a lot of $$ for a couple of magazines.

I will be attending at least for the weekend. We have a big project starting up in February about an hour and a half away from Orlando.

Just be forewarned. I took the family down there for a week when we bid the project.

Admission to Disneyworld is $71 per day for people age 10 and over. $60 for kids younger than 10.

Remember it's in Vegas for 2008 and Orlando in 2009. So you'll be the only one in Orlando. LOL

C&S, that is the great debate. Just like anything else you will find your detractors and supporters.

I personally think that there needs to be some improvement in the way they deal with some of their members that are not one of the big boys. I can tell you for a fact that I never have received a project lead from them and I doubt that I have ever received a job just because I was a member, but since my competition was a member, I felt we had to be one also.

I would have ended up at the National Dental Association convention

Nothing like partying with a bunch of dentists!

I am planning on being in Vegas as well. I will be arriving on Sunday AM. Should you decide to formally plan an informal get together, please let me know.

I must be drunk today or something, I will be arriving on Sunday the 24th. I talked about going a day earlier and it didn't work out.
