Default Are you taking Visa and Master Card?

Wondering how many out there are taking Visa and Master Card for payment? If so are you marking up the bill or just eating the discount fee?

I know this is more for the residential side and those smaller type projects.

I've thought about it, but I still stick to checks and cash. It's not a bad idea though for salvage sales...

Well I figured most wouldn't, but there are times that I wish I did. I have had many clients ask.
I have thought about it also, but some of the fees are crazy and when you don't physically run the card through the fees dang near double.

We dont accept it, A buddy that I know that runs a 14 truck concrete cutting co tried it and found that it ate his margins so bad on minimum jobs and the fact Visa was so slow to pay him he couldnt afford to use it and dicontinued it.

We don't, but on smaller job's it could come in handy. If we did, I would definitely charge a processing fee.
