Default Oil to $96 Per Barrel

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/markets/energy.html

Do you guys include a clause in your proposals/contracts that protect you from fuel increases or do you just eat it financially? Do you include fuel escalators in your estimates?

Damn! Maybe I shouldn't have bought that Armada. I haven't included any fuel cost increases yet but I may have to begin adding at least a hauling surcharge. A few of my sub- haulers have had to do so so I'm probably going tohave to follow suit to offset my loss.

I have added some, but only on strictly independent hauling jobs. We just increased our rates right before the price hike, so we okay for now.

Most subs and small companies, have increase their's across the board.

Did you catch the fuel report that was released this morning? Summer fuel prices are forecasted to be $2.76 for both gas and diesel this summer.

And it just keeps climbing. Gas has risen over .18 cents in the past 10 days here at my local station to $2.62

I heard on CNN that the middle of the country might see as high as $4.00, by then. Let's hope production doesn't get slammed again this hurricane season.
